GSC Athletics Launches Highlander Athletics Fund

Gordon State College Athletics has launched three levels of giving for the Highlander Athletics Fund to provide alumni, family, friends and businesses with the opportunity to support the athletics program and its 100-plus student-athletes, coaches and support staff.

Developed through the GSC Office of Advancement, External Relations and Marketing, the Highlander Athletics Fund three levels of giving include:

"Gordon State College Athletics has a tremendous history of success on the field and in the classroom, but it has been a well-kept secret for too long," said Steve Argo, GSC Director of Athletics. "So we worked closely with our AERM team over the summer to create a giving fund that is specifically tied to our athletics program.

"We have critical needs in areas such as scholarships for student-athletes and facility upgrades at our athletic complex. So I believe that corporations and businesses in our 14-county service region will find the Highlander Athletics Fund to be a great opportunity to engage with GSC Athletics."

The Gordon State College Department of Athletics is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA). Gordon State College competes in NJCAA Division I in the sports of Women's Soccer (Fall), Men's Basketball (Fall/Spring), Softball (Spring) and Baseball (Spring).
