BARNESVILLE, Ga. – Highlanders' Athletics is honored to announce the Zaxby's-Gordon State Student-Athlete Honor Roll for the athletics week of April 5-11, 2021.

Throughout the spring, each head coach can nominate a student-athlete from his or her sport to be represented on the honor roll, which will highlight academic and athletic accomplishments for the seven-day week of Monday through Sunday.

For the week of April 5-11, here is the Zaxby's-Gordon State Student-Athlete Honor Roll:

SOFTBALL: Sophomore second baseman Breanna Lee (Concord, Ga. / Pike County HS) hit .400 in four Gordon State wins while connecting for two home runs, driving in six runs and scoring three runs. Breanna finished the week with an on-base percentage of .438, a slugging percentage of .867 and an OPS of 1.304. Breanna also had four putouts, five assists and no errors from her second base position.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: Sophomore guard JahNile Hill (Manchester, Ga. / Manchester HS) finished the 2020-21 season leading the Highlanders and Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) in scoring with a 22.9 points-per-game average. JahNile played in all 16 games this season, averaging over 32 minutes per game, and connected on nearly 40 percentage of his three-pointers. JahNile was also steady at the free throw line by hitting on 77.6 percentage of his attempts.

The Gordon State College Department of Athletics is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA). Gordon State College competes in NJCAA Division I in the sports of Women's Soccer (Fall), Men's Basketball (Fall/Spring), Softball (Spring) and Baseball (Spring). Gordon State College is located in Barnesville, Ga., approximately 60 miles south of Atlanta and 35 miles northwest of Macon.
