GCAA Announces All-Region Honors For Men's Basketball

BARNESVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA), which is also recognized as Region 17 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), has announced its 2020-21 Men's Basketball Division I All-Region Team.

Representing Gordon State College is First-Team selection JahNile Hill, a 6-0, 170-pound sophomore guard from Manchester, Ga. (Manchester High School).

Hill led GSC with a regular-season scoring average of 22.7 points-per-game while shooting 38.9 percent from behind the three-point arc. Hill also averaged 2.6 assists-per-game, 2.1 rebounds-per-game and connected on 79.6 percent of his free throws.

GSC is also represented by Varun Danak on the All-Freshman team.

Danak, a 6-7, 195-pound guard/forward from Snellville, Ga. (Brookwood High School), averaged 14.5 ppg and 8.3 rpg while shooting 50 percent from the field during the regular season.
