BARNESVILLE, Ga. – Gordon State's men's basketball team concluded the 2021 spring regular season with a 79-73 loss to South Georgia State College here Saturday afternoon in a Georgia Collegiate Athletic  Association (GCAA) contest.

SGSC led 36-29 at halftime and then maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half before GSC closed with a late rush and the six-point final margin.

JahNile Hill (Manchester, Ga. / Manchester HS) had a game-high 24 points to go along with three assists and two steals while Varun Danak (Snellville, Ga. / Brookwood HS) had 20 points and nine rebounds for GSC (5-11 overall, 5-11 GCAA), which lost its third game in a row to close the regular season.

SGSC (18-3, 12-3 had four players finish in double-figures, including Bryce Brown and Jordan Coffee each with 14 points.
