DEMOREST, GA – Freshman Victoria O'Neal has been named the GCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week after her performance versus Parkland College, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

O'Neal led the Highlanders in the circle with a 0.00 ERA for the week.  She allowed just 4 hits while striking out 5 batters in a 2-0 shutout victory over the Cobras. 

Gordon State looks to defend their GCAA regular season title as they open conference play this Saturday at South Georgia State College in Douglas, GA.
