DEMOREST, GA – Sophomore Kinsey Jones has earned her first GCAA Softball Player of the Week honor based on her performance last week versus Georgia Highlands and South Georgia, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Jones hit .750 for the week, which included 6 home runs, 11 RBI's, 9 runs scored, 2 stolen bases and a double.  She had an on-base percentage of .800 and an OPS of 3.133 and SLG of 2.333.  At shortstop, she had 6 put outs and 8 assists.  

Jones and the Highlander look to grow their win streak this week as they face USC-Salkehatchie and South Georgia, both at home.  Please check the schedule for any last minute game changes.
