DEMOREST, GA – Sophomore Cayla Bishop and Freshman Victoria O'neal have earned the GCAA Softball Player & Pitcher of the Week honors based on their performances last week versus Andrew and East Georgia, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Bishop hit .538 for the week with two doubles, 3 home runs and 10 RBI's.  She also had 10 putouts and 7 assists in the field.  O'Neal pitched in relief posting a 2-0 record, 0.955 ERA with just 2 hits allowed while striking out 6.  

The Highlanders presently sit in second place in the GCAA, just two games behind ABAC.  The next region double header is Wednesday at Georgia Military College.
