The Lady Highlanders now lead the nation in shutouts, recording their eighth consecutive shutout.
With an early goal scored by Skylar Bertram and assisted by Ashlyn Halseth in the 5th minute of the game, the Lady Highlanders clinched their 7th straight win of the season.
Halseth's OT winning goal gave the sophomore her 4th goal of the season, continuing the Highlanders' 6 game winning streak.
While the Gordon State Lady Highlanders continue to put up big numbers on the scoreboard, it’s the defensive effort and continued shutouts that have the coaching staff excited about the season.
