With a 2-1 victory over Georgia Military, the Lady Highlanders secured the NJCAA Region 17 & GCAA Conference Championship and now advance to play November 2-3 in the NJCAA Southeast District championships.

The Lady Highlanders took to the road this weekend for a two-game trip to Tennessee.
Game two of the Lady Highlanders Tennessee weekend proved to be a tougher match than Sunday’s with Gordon State coming away with a 1-0 win.
With the home win over GA Military College, the Highlanders are assured to finish top of the GCAA Conference and will host the conference championship on October 25th.

Scheduling issues forced Gordon State and ABAC to play back to back games over the week with the Highlanders picking up two wins, Thursday's 8-2 home victory followed by Saturday's 4-0 win on the road.

While the Highlanders continue their winning ways, a slow start for the Highlanders allowed the Fillies from Andrew Baldwin Agricultural College, ABAC, to grab a quick goal in the first two minutes of the game which ended the Highlanders’ shutout streak.
The Lady Highlanders now lead the nation in shutouts, recording their eighth consecutive shutout.
With an early goal scored by Skylar Bertram and assisted by Ashlyn Halseth in the 5th minute of the game, the Lady Highlanders clinched their 7th straight win of the season.
